How to navigate the database
The songs listed indicate composer, title, date, difficulty (tbc), range, duration and score availability as these were determined to be critical factors for selection. You can sort the list by clicking on the arrows alongside any category heading.
As research for this project is ongoing, in this prototype stage all surveyed songs are listed with title and composer but, as yet, only songs from Survey No. 1 include additional information. You can click on any of these linked songs to find a full song page with specific details on the work with score and media availability. Grading information will be added in future.
Some filters have been provided to help streamline searches - voice category (high, medium, low, unspecified), range, score and audio availability and time period (in 50 year increments).
When you click on any filter or combination of filters, the list below will instantly sort to match your criteria. In any category, if you wish to search multiple options, press Shift or CTRL/CMD click to select multiple options.
While these selections have been made based on survey feedback, this section is still adaptable. If you have any suggestions, get in touch at flametreetrio@gmail.com.
Note: A number of additional song cycles were mentioned by respondants but as individual songs were not specified, they could not be included. The cycles are:

- The Hermit of Green Light by Ross Edwards
- Nocturnes by Iain Grandage
- Four Nursery Songs by Dorian Le Gallienne
- Letters From A Black Snake by George Palmer
